Carrie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. After 15 years as a special educator and administrator in California, Carrie obtained her Master of Science degree from Mississippi State University. She received extensive training in neurological and physical disabilities at Roosevelt Institute of Rehabilitation, Warm Springs, GA. She has provided mental health treatment in community agencies, employee assistance programs, and private practice in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arizona. Her specialties include treatment of trauma, pain management, grief, anxiety, depression, couples issues, chronic mental illness, issues related to cultural diversity, and physical and developmental disabilities. She has experience working with veterans, survivors of violence/crime, hospice, anger management, group psychotherapy, and EMDR.
